The Roofing System starts with spray polyurethane foam (SPF) that can be applied to almost any existing roof and to most roofing decks in new construction. The brand of waterproofing coating can also be used to rejuvenate ageing or weathered roofing systems. The elastometric character of the coating allows it to bridge small cracks and seams to maintain the waterproofing integrity of a roofing membrane. SPF roofing has been used for over 30 years. The roofing systems are Underwriters Labratory (UL) listed as well as Facory Mutual (FM) approved.

Shingles

Abolute Urethane cleans and pressure washes existing roof surface with PSI pressure washing machine to ensure adhesion. The roof is then primed with Henry's #104 primer at a rate of 1/2 gallon per square. Polyurethane foam can be applied at varying thicknesses, but most commonly used is 1"-1.5". Each inch of foam adds an R-value of 7. Any low areas are filled with polyurethane to eliminate ponding. Appliacation of Henry's permax 120 elastomeric coating at 18 mils thick in two seperate coats; grade base coat then white top coat for maximum sun reflection. The elastomeric coat is the main source of water proofing, is applied in a cross hatch pattern, and back rolled to ensure even coverage. All cracks are checked and caulked on coping metal with urethane caulking. This system provides a 10 year leak free warranty. Grannules can be added to extend the life of the roof to 15, 20, and 25 year warranties. Polyurethane will last you a lifetime, but must be maintined by recoating with elastomeric periodically.
