TPO Single Ply Membrane Roofing System
The class of commercial roofing membranes commonly described as "single-ply" are flexible sheets of compounded synthetic
materials that are manufactured in a factory to strict quality control requirements.
This is in contrast to other roofing, typically known as BUR (built up roofs), which utilize hot asphalt and other
hazardous components as the roof is constructed in place.
Single ply roof systems provide strength, flexibility, and long-lasting durability. The inherent advantages of pre-fabricated
sheets are the consistency of the quality of the products that are manufactured, the versatility in their attachment methods, and
therefore, their broader applicability.

Applicatoin Process
Absolute Urethane applies TPO single ply membrane at an average of 40 mils thickness, giving the roof a 10 year warranty.
TPO can also be applied at 60 mils thickness which would give it a 20 year warranty. This roofing system is commonly used in
new construction or renovation of commercial roofing.
Absolute Urethane adheres the membrane to the substrate by using denz deck, which acts as a buffer between the two surfaces
and gives the roofing system a class "A" fire rating. With this membrane we would generally use a Versico Solvent Based Adhesive.
Membranes can come in several different colors, as per clients request, but the most commonly used color is white to maximize sun
reflection. Membranes are typically installed up and over parapit walls to use as counterflash for metal cap.
